This study conducted at SMP Raudlatul Mu'alimin of the second grade and focusing on the reading comprehension in narrative text.
This research used a classroom action research method in two cycle of research and it was conducted in class XI IPA 3 of MAN Indrmayu at the second semester of academic year 2015/2016. The findings showed that word splash strategy improved the students' reading comprehension.
This research attempts to examine the effectiveness of Read, Cover, Remember, Retell (RCRR) strategy to improve students reading comprehension among the second grade students of SMPN 1 Gabuswetan.
