Test of Our History
Two years after the murder of Indonesia's leading human rights activist Munir's, there is still no significance progress showing that the case will be solved. The pursuit of justice for this case is another dark side in the history of Human Rights Enforcement in Indonesia. Munir's murder cannot be separated fro his activities. His advocacies leave a strong spirit and knowledge to those who belive in justice. On the other hand, those same activities had created many enemies from the establishment side. Munir also encouraged public participation to have a civilian control on various activities of the establishment, the kind of control that is considered as a threat to the establishment.
